Keeping Up with Evolving Technology and New Demands

Renovating the Science & Engineering Library

Completed in 1991, the Science & Engineering Library, “S&E” as its users fondly know it, serves the Physical & Biological Sciences and Engineering. The building was designed for student body of 9,000 that consulted indexes and abstracts on CD-ROMs. Today, seven days a week, we serve 17,000 students, each of whom depends on a laptop and a smart phone.

You, our supporters, did a wonderful thing at McHenry Library by contributing $8.6M toward its expansion and renovation. Let’s do it again at S&E!  Learn more about the rejuvenation plans.
